This is a set of 4 handmade pasta plates with decorative coloring effects, made from 100% stoneware. The paint used is food-safe. Stoneware is a clay-based material used in the making of dishes, fired in the range of 1100-1300 degrees. It is more durable than ceramic and less absorbent of water. Due to being fired at higher temperatures, it is safe to use in the microwave, oven, and dishwasher for many years.
