Stoneware is a clay-based material used in the production of plates and dishes, baked in the oven at 1100-1300 degrees. It is much stronger than ceramics and does not absorb water as much. Due to being fired at a higher temperature, it can be safely used in the microwave, oven, and dishwasher for many years. When washing cutlery in the dishwasher, it is recommended to place knives in a separate compartment. It is advised to wash cutlery with food residue on them in warm soapy water and a soft brush before putting them in the dishwasher, to avoid causing damage to the product surface. The rinse program of the dishwasher should not be used for cutlery. It is recommended to remove cutlery from the dishwasher before the final drying cycle, as the high heat levels of drying programs may damage the surface of the products.
